How to Participate

Are you suffering from anxiety and stress associated with cancer? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study to evaluate the effects of psilocybin on anxiety and distress in patients with cancer.

Volunteers will experience two study drug sessions. Questionnaires and interviews will be used to evaluate multiple outcome variables including the effects of the study drug on mood, quality of life, pain perception and attitude toward illness. This is an FDA and DEA approved study.

Eligibility
Inclusion Criteria
  • Participants must be 18-76 years of age.
  • Current or historical diagnosis of cancer with a life expectancy of at least one year
  • Have anxiety associated with cancer
Exclusion Criteria
  • Personal or family history of a severe psychiatric disorder.
  • Medical exclusion: Epilepsy, diabetes, abnormal liver function, and severe cardiovascular disease.
